Can a cat survive in rapidly developing nature?

My girlfriend is moving to the East Coast for college, but it can not take Your Cat with it. The cat's name is Slinky and really loves, so I reluctantly agreed to take care of it for her. Here's the problem: the cat's meow is rougher than I heard, and coughing all the time. On several occasions, has kept me awake at night with a dry cough and meows. I asked my friend who is training to become a vet to come see the cat, and it appears that I need to take to the vet and pay for the surgery to correct the problems you have. Now I have things I prefer to spend money a stupid cat, so I decided it was time to get rid of it. I took the wood and climb a distance considerable road.
