I exit and electrical wir 2 * 4 Wall. There are no walls. What is the best method?
Should I make holes in the center 2 * 4 horizontal runs or should I run the thread on the bolt through the plate and the stud where w receptcale NE. Later method wastes a lot of wire
, For horizontal drilling hole is fine, I think they put metal plates on the front of 2x in front of the hole so that you can not plant a nail in the thread later. I did all my own electrical work for over 40 years without problems, no lights are dimming circuits overloaded, there's fire.
